Comparing Le Jetee, the short, and 12 Monkeys, the full-length movie

From the narrative structure Both films explore non-linear narrative structures, with "La Jetée" famously relying on a series of still images. Observing how "12 Monkeys" adapts and expands upon this structure can offer insights into creative storytelling methods for short films. Both films delve into themes of time travel, memory, and the impact of human actions on the future. Filmmakers can explore how these profound themes are presented and developed in short film formats. My takeaway from this article is the same as the video... both films are influential works in the science fiction genre. Some information I gathered while reading it is Chris Marker crafted an interesting and thought-provoking visual spectacle in his very refreshing and daring film. For the time it came from, the film is revolutionary, blending together familiar elements of the film medium while also making something innovative and new that was going out of style for color film.

Production Blog: Editing My Videos

Once me and David finished filming on 12/10/22. We wanted to import the clips he took on his phone but we both agreed on waiting until Monday. We then imported the clips through email. David decided to give me half of the clips then the other half the next day. I eventually got all the clips and I started to import them into my editing program, which is Adobe Premiere Pro. I've been using Adobe Premiere Pro for about a year and a couple of months. Before I started editing my part of the music video, I organized everything by 5 different categories... videos, sound/music, green screen videos, sound effects, and photos. Planning Blog: Title Design

The opening credits of my film will appear in a bold font that appears to be typed in different places around the screen. The size of the text will be pretty big so the audience can clearly see the credits. The color will be white with a black shadow/outline to give a little edge. Some credits, will appear to be embedded into the actual setting. For example, on the walls, on the objects in the scene, and buildings/houses. Working Title: The title of the film is most likely to be "R3VENGE" The working title will be bold faced with all caps: LIKE THIS . Also, the 3 will be 1-2 lager than the font and will be red: LIKE THIS The titles will be faded into the screen and and disappear with a fade out. The titles will disappear after 2-3 sentences. Some of the titles may have different sizes. Like 2 sizes larger than the normal. The titles are the Name o the Studio, Name of Production Company, Produced/Executive Producer, and Directed By.
