  Thriller is a genre of fiction with numerous, often overlapping, subgenres, including crime, horror, and detective fiction. They are characterized by the moods they elicit, giving their audience heightened feeling of suspense, excitement, surprise, anticipation, and anxiety. Thriller uses close-ups, panning shots, long and low shots to create suspense for the audience. The lighting, costumes, makeup, and setting help to contribute a character's personality to the audience and transform into new, believable, people on screen. Jump cuts. fast and slow pace transitions, action matching, shot reverse shot, and eye-line match to create tension, convey emotion. and represent characters. After looking through all of these genres, examining the different factors that make up that genre. My group decided to go with Thriller. Pitch 1: A teen gets a phone call from a mysterious voice that ends up being a person in a mask trying to kill them and then the teen has a chance to take of the person's mask, which ends up being their friend. Pitch 2: A teen leaves their job but gets a message from an unknown number, which is a photo of them. The teen then runs to their car as this number is continually sending photos of them. They get in their car and get killed. However, they wake up thinking it was just a dream but someone is the car and kills them. Pitch 1: We can make this film because we already planned some of the scenes out already and I have a semi-clear idea of everything. Making this film would be interesting, fun, and a learning process. For this project, I choose my friends David and Teo. Both David and Teo are in the A level of this class. They're both juniors, same as me. I'm working with David again. In last year's first task I mainly chose him because he was next to me in class, and one of the few people I know the class. Also, because he was in my biology class last year. In biology, me and David sat close to each other so we worked together sometimes. In the second task last year, I chose him because I didn't want to change partners. Same for the third task. This year is basically the same reasons. Also I have 2 classes with him instead of 1 like last year. I don't really know much about Teo. However, I had either 1 or 2 classes with Teo our freshman year. Also, I think since me and Teo didn't have any classes together last year that might be a leading cause as to why our friendship isn't like me and David's. Hello! I'm back, ready to get back to work, and now I'm a junior. Here's a little refresh about me... I'm an only child, I still like cheeseburgers, pizza, especially margarita pizza, quesadillas, mac n cheese, etc. I like to draw, I've been in art classes since the third grade, and the middle school I went to had a magnet program for visual arts. I also had painting 1 my freshman year, and still mainly draw/paint during my free time. I like to play video games, but only on the weekends since by console is at my dad's house. I play games like Minecraft, Roblox, and Fortnite. I also like to make edits of tv shows/movies with adobe after effects and make video content for YouTube with adobe premiere pro. I only edit on my free time because homework is more important to me. I joined this class because some of my friends said it was an easy class to pass and because I wanted to expand my knowledge on film/film techniques. Also, these techniques can be applied to the
