Intro Blog: I'm Back!

Hello! I'm back, ready to get back to work, and now I'm a junior. Here's a little refresh about me... I'm an only child, I still like cheeseburgers, pizza, especially margarita pizza, quesadillas, mac n cheese, etc. I like to draw, I've been in art classes since the third grade, and the middle school I went to had a magnet program for visual arts. I also had painting 1 my freshman year, and still mainly draw/paint during my free time. I like to play video games, but only on the weekends since by console is at my dad's house. I play games like Minecraft, Roblox, and Fortnite. I also like to make edits of tv shows/movies with adobe after effects and make video content for YouTube with adobe premiere pro. I only edit on my free time because homework is more important to me. I joined this class because some of my friends said it was an easy class to pass and because I wanted to expand my knowledge on film/film techniques. Also, these techniques can be applied to the video content I make or when I work the film crew for a film. Even during the summer this class has made me identify the camera movements, angles, and shot in movies/tv shows. I've been saying "that's a pan", "there's an establishing shot", "there goes a two shot". I can't wait to start filming for this project and put my new editing skills to the test. I think I have definitely increased my skills/knowledge from last year. Since this task is different than the others, it will give me a chance to use more techniques such as camera angles, shots, editing, camera movements, and different uses of sound. Especially with the length extension of this project. Overall I'm just very excited to start working and get back to filming with my group for this project. See you in the next blog!

Well my group and I wasn't able to film at all. When me and my group came to class that week we talked about filming again. I think there was an early release day that week but we couldn't use it because we would be busy. In the end we wall agreed that Sunday would be our other filming day. Production Blog: Editing My Videos

Once me and David finished filming on 12/10/22. We wanted to import the clips he took on his phone but we both agreed on waiting until Monday. We then imported the clips through email. David decided to give me half of the clips then the other half the next day. I eventually got all the clips and I started to import them into my editing program, which is Adobe Premiere Pro. I've been using Adobe Premiere Pro for about a year and a couple of months. Before I started editing my part of the music video, I organized everything by 5 different categories... videos, sound/music, green screen videos, sound effects, and photos. I do this all the time because it helps me find things easier rather than everything being all of the place. Also, it's been this way ever since I got Premiere Pro. Planning Blog: Title Design

The opening credits of my film will appear in a bold font that appears to be typed in different places around the screen. The size of the text will be pretty big so the audience can clearly see the credits. The color will be white with a black shadow/outline to give a little edge. Some credits, will appear to be embedded into the actual setting. For example, on the walls, on the objects in the scene, and buildings/houses. Working Title: The title of the film is most likely to be "R3VENGE" The working title will be bold faced with all caps: LIKE THIS . Also, the 3 will be 1-2 lager than the font and will be red: LIKE THIS The titles will be faded into the screen and and disappear with a fade out. The titles will disappear after 2-3 sentences. Some of the titles may have different sizes. Like 2 sizes larger than the normal. The titles are the Name o the Studio, Name of Production Company, Produced/Executive Producer, and Directed By.
