Production Blog: Welp... We Couldn't Film Today

On Wednesday, the 14th, me and my group decided what days to film with Chelsey. We eventually decided on that next day, the 15th, either immediately after school or an hour after. The location we chose was Caporella Park. We chose this location because my group wanted to film at a different park to change the scenery. Also, the park was close to me, David, and Chelsey. On the night of the 14th, me and David called each other to make sure that we both could go and talked about how we could get to the park depending on what time we were getting there. If we got there immediately after school, David would uber to the park. If it was about an hour later, he would take the bus and let his parents drop him off. He later texted Chelsey to see if she could come. On the 15th, I told David that my mom said it was best to film immediately after school and that I could uber with David and she'll pick me up from the park. Me and my mother then talked about who would pay for the uber. I then later texted David this and he told me that he'll check with Chelsey to see if she can come to the park or not. During my 4th period, David texted me that Chelsey wouldn't be able to go. We decided to meet up after school to talk about what we should do. After talking about what to do, we decided to film on Saturday morning, and a couple seconds later my mom called me to see what was happening with the filming. I told her that one of my group mates wasn't able to go and she was a main factor in this part of the music video and that we were planning on trying to film again on Saturday morning at the same place. My mom then agreed with me and David's plan. So hopefully Chelsey can film Saturday morning. If not, then me and David will probably have to be both the actors and directors. In order to include Chelsey in the process, I will include her in the editing process with me.

Production Blog: Editing My Videos

Once me and David finished filming on 12/10/22. We wanted to import the clips he took on his phone but we both agreed on waiting until Monday. We then imported the clips through email. David decided to give me half of the clips then the other half the next day. I eventually got all the clips and I started to import them into my editing program, which is Adobe Premiere Pro. I've been using Adobe Premiere Pro for about a year and a couple of months. Before I started editing my part of the music video, I organized everything by 5 different categories... videos, sound/music, green screen videos, sound effects, and photos. I do this all the time because it helps me find things easier rather than everything being all of the place. Also, it's been this way ever since I got Premiere Pro. Planning Blog: Title Design

The opening credits of my film will appear in a bold font that appears to be typed in different places around the screen. The size of the text will be pretty big so the audience can clearly see the credits. The color will be white with a black shadow/outline to give a little edge. Some credits, will appear to be embedded into the actual setting. For example, on the walls, on the objects in the scene, and buildings/houses. Working Title: The title of the film is most likely to be "R3VENGE" The working title will be bold faced with all caps: LIKE THIS . Also, the 3 will be 1-2 lager than the font and will be red: LIKE THIS The titles will be faded into the screen and and disappear with a fade out. The titles will disappear after 2-3 sentences. Some of the titles may have different sizes. Like 2 sizes larger than the normal. The titles are the Name o the Studio, Name of Production Company, Produced/Executive Producer, and Directed By.
