Production Blog: Last Minute Filming
On Saturday, the 17th, I resumed filming with Chelsey and David. Once again I had the role of the actor, so I had to wear the proper clothing and since I was the one who had the storyboard... I had to make sure I brought it. For this part of filming we only filmed the second half of our commercial. Not even the second half, only the nostalgic clips of their past friendship. The rest of the clips were filmed during my time with David last weekend. We also used David's phone again. The first scene that I acted out was me laughing and talking with Chelsey, and David shot it a couple times. The next scene I acted out was on the swings with Chelsey having a conversation. In another, David filmed me and Chelsey having another conversation in a different part of the park. After this, me and Chelsey told David that he should be included in the music video and not just directing. I asked my mom to record the three of us walking. She took about four different takes. One was the camera at a high angle with a long shot and another was a high camera angle and a medium-long shot. The third shot was a pan/tracking shot, including a long shot. For the last shot, there was a pan/tracking shot with a medium shot. During the time that I filmed with my group, it was gloomy outside and the park was a little smaller so there was lack in the amount of space, but we made it work. When we were getting ready to film my mom talked to my group about where we should film at since she walked around the park. Some parts of the videos David and my mom filmed need to be clean up, but that can be taken care during editing. This part of the music video took almost an hour to film.
