Production Blog: Filming Me

On Saturday, the 10th, I started filming with my group. One of my group members was not able to be there so some scene were filmed before others. As the actor, I made sure I had the proper clothing. Since my headphone were also going to be used, I had to make sure that I brought them. Also, I had to bring most of the equipment. I brought the storyboard with me so that we can know what scene to shoot and act out. The first scene that I acted out was me walking into a room and jumping onto the bed and David shot it a couple times. The next scene I acted out was me turning on the TV that was in the room. While doing these scene we had to move some stuff that was previously in the room to another location. We had to reshoot this scene because the phone wasn't position the way we liked it. For the walking scenes we did multiple takes of different angles, camera movements, and shots. I also gave David some more ideas that we can incorporate into my part of this music video. After about 30 minutes of filming me and David took a 30 minute break. During the time that we filmed the lighting could've been a little lighter, but other than that it was okay. David suggested that we should film more scenes, since he had some time left on his hands. In one scene, I acted like I was scrolling on my phone and clicking my screen as if I started to play music. In another scene, David filmed me putting on the headphones from two different angles. Some parts of the videos David filmed need to be clean up, but that can be taken care during editing. This part of the music video took almost 2 hours for filming with the additional 30 minute break, but there's still more to get done. We still need to film Chelsey's part of the music video, hopefully before Thursday. When me and Chelsey are filming, since David should available 10/14 and 10/15, David will still be the director and maybe even an actor. Lastly, Chelsey and I will be the actors.
