Production Blog: I Really Need to Film... but I Can't

During November 28th through December 9th, I wasn't able to or just didn't film. During this time I was either busy with homework or just needed a little rest after school. During the last couple days of November my group couldn't really film because our second half of the storyboard wasn't completed. Then Wednesday, November 30th, my group talked about possible locations were we could film. These were my grandparent's house on my mom's side, David's house, and Chelsey's house. Me and Chelsey both said that our rooms are a little messy and we cant film in there. The last choice was to film at David's house or film myself at my grandparent's house on my dad's side (both of my parents live with their parents for now). We had to talk about these different locations until that Friday through Sunday (December 2 - 4). Also, I couldn't film December 3rd because one of my friends had a sweet 16, and throughout the entire day I was busy. I was out getting gifts, my mom had to get a mask, and me and my mom decided to eat brunch. Also, that Sunday, my mom made plans to attend church and that was from 10am to 12:30pm and some of my family members were around so it was like another 30 minutes of me being there. I still had homework to do and my legs were sore because I don't really go to parties often and most of my dances focuses on the knees. So Sunday was technically a rest day. Eventually my group decided on David's house for the first part of the video, then film the second half of the video at a park near all of us. Then, during December 6 - 8, we talked about what days we could possibly film. I said that I was available Saturday and Sunday, but my mom said that she wasn't trying to go to David's and back home both days, so we eventually agreed on Saturday. I told David and he told me I could go to his house around 1pm and I would leave around 5pm since I had another sweet 16 to go to. Which was from 6pm to 12am, and the drive back from David's house to my house was 30 minutes then the drive to where the sweet 16 was being held was a 15 minutes drive and I still needed to get ready and take a shower. Luckily with the amount of time that me and David had was enough and we got the first half of the music video done and a little bit of the second half. Unfortunately, Chelsey couldn't come so I have to film with her some other time this week.

Production Blog: Editing My Videos

Once me and David finished filming on 12/10/22. We wanted to import the clips he took on his phone but we both agreed on waiting until Monday. We then imported the clips through email. David decided to give me half of the clips then the other half the next day. I eventually got all the clips and I started to import them into my editing program, which is Adobe Premiere Pro. I've been using Adobe Premiere Pro for about a year and a couple of months. Before I started editing my part of the music video, I organized everything by 5 different categories... videos, sound/music, green screen videos, sound effects, and photos. I do this all the time because it helps me find things easier rather than everything being all of the place. Also, it's been this way ever since I got Premiere Pro. Planning Blog: Title Design

The opening credits of my film will appear in a bold font that appears to be typed in different places around the screen. The size of the text will be pretty big so the audience can clearly see the credits. The color will be white with a black shadow/outline to give a little edge. Some credits, will appear to be embedded into the actual setting. For example, on the walls, on the objects in the scene, and buildings/houses. Working Title: The title of the film is most likely to be "R3VENGE" The working title will be bold faced with all caps: LIKE THIS . Also, the 3 will be 1-2 lager than the font and will be red: LIKE THIS The titles will be faded into the screen and and disappear with a fade out. The titles will disappear after 2-3 sentences. Some of the titles may have different sizes. Like 2 sizes larger than the normal. The titles are the Name o the Studio, Name of Production Company, Produced/Executive Producer, and Directed By.
