Production Blog: Filming Corvelest's Part

On Saturday, the 8th, I started filming with my group. One of my group members was not able to be there so some scene were filmed before others. As the actor, I made sure I had the proper clothing. Since I am the owner of the headphones I had to make sure that I brought them. Also, I had to bring the equipment since I was the one who already had a tripod for a phone, and got a camera and tripod just in case. When me and David compared the camera to his phone we decided that his phone was to best device to record with. I brought the storyboard with me so that we can know what scene to shoot and act out. The first scene that I acted out was me putting on the headphones and we did shot it a couple times. The next scene I acted out was me pressing the 'b' button on the headphones. We had to reshoot this scene because the phone wasn't position the way we liked it. For the walking scenes we did multiple takes of different angles, camera movements, and shots. I also gave David some more ideas that we can incorporate into my part of this commercial. During the time that we filmed the lighting could've been better, but it was going to rain soon. David suggested that we should film more scenes, since he had some time left on his hands. In one scene, I acted like I was scrolling on my phone and clicking my screen as if I started to play music. In another scene, David filmed me putting on the headphones but sitting down and from another angle. Some parts of the videos David filmed need to be clean up, but that can be taken care during editing. This part of the commercial took almost 50 minutes for filming, but there's still more to get done. We still need to film Chelsey's part of the commercial, hopefully before Thursday. When me and Chelsey are filming, since David isn't available 10/10 through 10/13, I will have to be the director and Chelsey will be the actor.
