Short film research: (intrusion/thriller)

 

  • Common CAMS in your genre - high and low angles, pan, tracking shot, zoom, establishing shot, long shot, medium shot, medium close up, close up, extreme close up, two shot, point of view shot, and over the shoulder shot.
  • Common Sound in your genre - diegetic, non-diegetic, sound bridge, dialogue, voice over, and ambient sound.
  • Common Mis-En-Scene (CLAMPS) in your genre - costumes, lighting, acting, makeup, props, and set.
  • Common Editing in your genre - cross cutting, jump cut, insert, eyeline match, action match, and shot-reverse shot.
  • Example films of your genre - Saltburn, Talk to Me, Don't Worry Darling, Scream 6, Old, and The Menu.
  • What elements of the genre that you like? - suspense, jump scares, and plot twists.
  • What elements of the genre do not appeal to you? - gore/blood.

Well my group and I wasn't able to film at all. When me and my group came to class that week we talked about filming again. Production Blog: Editing My Videos

Once me and David finished filming on 12/10/22. We wanted to import the clips he took on his phone but we both agreed on waiting until Monday. We then imported the clips through email. David decided to give me half of the clips then the other half the next day. I eventually got all the clips and I started to import them into my editing program, which is Adobe Premiere Pro. I've been using Adobe Premiere Pro for about a year and a couple of months. Before I started editing my part of the music video, I organized everything by 5 different categories... videos, sound/music, green screen videos, sound effects, and photos. I do this all the time because it helps me find things easier rather than everything being all of the place. Also, it's been this way ever since I got Premiere Pro. Planning Blog: Title Design

The opening credits of my film will appear in a bold font that appears to be typed in different places around the screen. The size of the text will be pretty big so the audience can clearly see the credits. The color will be white with a black shadow/outline to give a little edge. Some credits, will appear to be embedded into the actual setting. For example, on the walls, on the objects in the scene, and buildings/houses. Working Title: The title of the film is most likely to be "R3VENGE" The working title will be bold faced with all caps: LIKE THIS . Also, the 3 will be 1-2 lager than the font and will be red: LIKE THIS The titles will be faded into the screen and and disappear with a fade out. The titles will disappear after 2-3 sentences. Some of the titles may have different sizes. Like 2 sizes larger than the normal. The titles are the Name o the Studio, Name of Production Company, Produced/Executive Producer, and Directed By.
