Filming Blog: Once Again... Couldn't Film
A couple days later, my group and I haven't started filming at all. From March 10 to the 14, my group wasn't able to film, especially because I'm a main character in the opening sequence. During this time I was with my grandparent's on my dad's side of the family and they live near Pembroke Pines, which is a good 30 minutes away from Fort Lauderdale. This occurred throughout that Friday afternoon, Saturday, and Sunday. Then for Monday I was busy all evening because of homework, mainly chemistry. I was busy doing my chemistry project last minute...literally 3 days before the due date. This took almost the entire evening, including my other homework. On Tuesday, usually I would go to star tutoring, but they cancelled it. This was most likely due to the number of fights that eventually led to a lockdown. So after school I went home and started working on my chemistry project and I still needed to buy the supplies for this project. When my mom got home I told her that I need supplies for my project. From 6pm to about 8pm I went shopping for supplies. However, I still couldn't film before we left to go the stores because around this time it would get dark around 6pm instead of 7pm. Next day, the 15th, was my hair appointment and that was from 4pm to almost 6pm. This appointment was also in Margate which is about 20 minutes away from my house, which is near possible filming locations. Luckily, this now meant I could film myself anytime now since my hair wouldn't have a sudden change throughout the opening sequence/film, which was my main concern. However, again daylight was being lost. Then the 16th (Thursday) I got out of school early but I was booked all day because I made plans to hang out with my cousin who came down to Fort Lauderdale for his parent's anniversary. My dad and his parents thought my cousin and I could hang out with for the day with them immediately after school. So throughout this entire week I was basically booked and couldn't film at all...even for myself.
