Storyboard Blog: Let's Get Creative


  First Scene:

  • In this scene we will be a black screen as the title of the song appear beat by beat. This will be about 4 seconds.
Second Scene:
  • In the second scene I will be filmed entering a room proceeded to lay onto the bed and think. We will film two takes of this scene, first using a pan and seconds using two different shots and cutting them to match in editing.
Third Scene:
  • The next scene will be me on the bed and acting like I'm thinking. This scene will include an establishing shot, a close-up, a high angle, and a medium shot.
Fourth Scene:
  • In the fourth scene, I will be filmed putting on my headphones and selecting music, which will be it's own shot once we get into details while filming. This scene will include a close-up and a medium close-up.
Fifth Scene:
  • In the fifth scene I will film my POV of grabbing the remote to the TV and turn it on. This scene will be about 5 seconds.
Sixth Scene:
  • The sixth scene will me getting up from the bed and the camera getting close to my forehead. This will then lead to 3 different transitions being used that include masking which will be done in editing. (seen on the back of storyboard)
Seventh Scene
  • In the seventh scene will be videos that represents my remainders of their "friendship". This scene will be about 10 seconds long. Also, includes a pan, two shot, a high angle, medium long shot, wide shot, and an establishing shot. 
Eighth Scene:
  • In this scene, I will sing the lyrics "I've got to know". This scene will last about 2 or 3 seconds and will include a medium close-up and be at eye level.
Ninth Scene:
  • In the ninth scene will be a black that lasts for 2 seconds.
Tenth Scene:
  • In the tenth scene will be about 5 seconds and will be singing "Know" This scene will include a pan that will go from my knees to a medium close-up
Eleventh Scene:
  • In the eleventh scene, it will more videos that represents my remainders of their "friendship". This scene will be about 12 seconds long. Also, includes a pan, two shot + three shot, a high angle, medium long shot, wide shot, and an establishing shot. 
Twelfth Scene:
  • In this final scene, will be me singing the last lyrics. There will be two different take associating with this scene. This scene will also last for about 10 seconds.
Take 1: low angle, medium long shot, and fade out.
Take 2: high angle, long shot, and fade out.

Production Blog: Editing My Videos

Once me and David finished filming on 12/10/22. We wanted to import the clips he took on his phone but we both agreed on waiting until Monday. We then imported the clips through email. David decided to give me half of the clips then the other half the next day. I eventually got all the clips and I started to import them into my editing program, which is Adobe Premiere Pro. I've been using Adobe Premiere Pro for about a year and a couple of months. Before I started editing my part of the music video, I organized everything by 5 different categories... videos, sound/music, green screen videos, sound effects, and photos. I do this all the time because it helps me find things easier rather than everything being all of the place. Also, it's been this way ever since I got Premiere Pro. Planning Blog: Title Design

The opening credits of my film will appear in a bold font that appears to be typed in different places around the screen. The size of the text will be pretty big so the audience can clearly see the credits. The color will be white with a black shadow/outline to give a little edge. Some credits, will appear to be embedded into the actual setting. For example, on the walls, on the objects in the scene, and buildings/houses. Working Title: The title of the film is most likely to be "R3VENGE" The working title will be bold faced with all caps: LIKE THIS . Also, the 3 will be 1-2 lager than the font and will be red: LIKE THIS The titles will be faded into the screen and and disappear with a fade out. The titles will disappear after 2-3 sentences. Some of the titles may have different sizes. Like 2 sizes larger than the normal. The titles are the Name o the Studio, Name of Production Company, Produced/Executive Producer, and Directed By.
